Now, I realized how much I missed my oyster po'boy! Had the lump crab appetizer (hot version) with the hot cocktail sauce- 'twas perfect for a low carb diet. The fries though were within arm's reach, so it still works for portion control the perfect stop for light dinner.

A little hard to find, wait staff were super, my friend had the softshell crab sandwich and was very pleased. I had 1lb of steamed peel n eat shrimp. They had not been seasoned while cooking and they were overcooked and a little mushy. A couple of shrimps were a little cold in the center which indicated that they had been reheated. The staff was so nice I did not have the heart to complain.

Diarrhea, under staffed, expensive , ripoff Brought a $30 lunch lobster tail. Took two bites and it was very rubbery and tasteless. I told the waiter and she said their all cooked like that and was still charged. I took it off my plate and left it at the corner of the table. I brought a buffalo shrimp plater. They were so delicious. However, they gave me really bad stomach ache and blew their toilet up. I guess that's what I get for buying seafood at a flea market.

Best seafood around! Fair prices and everything is super fresh. I especially like how they automatically wrap your order in ice for the trip home. If you want something that they do not have they will gladly look into ordering it for you. I have yet to eat in the restaurant but plan on doing so soon.

DON'T GO HERE...unless you're sure that you're here. There are two branches. One is right by one of the entrances, and it's a grab and go place. The seafood there is ok, but nothing to write home about. I gave this place two stars in an earlier review and noted it as a major disappointment. The actual restaurant is at the opposite end of the market from the grab-and-go place. Had the frog legs, which were excellent (still juicy, but fried perfectly) and fried oysters (again, juicy and fried perfectly). The signature "hot" cocktail sauce is as advertised.

Yum! On my way back from DC, I stopped here! Fried oysters, crab cake, clams. How can you go wrong? Delicious!

I have never eaten here, that's why it gets 4/5. However, my wife and I are Saturday regulars, picking up seafood. The staff is friendly and quick and if you are a sports fan they engage you in friendly fun conversation no matter what the team. The prices are fair, and the food is fresh! The variety of seafood is very diverse and they always ask if you need ice for the transport home.

The Farmer's Market is open Fri - Sun and it has mostly become a series of krip-krap stalls. However, the longest standing business in the Farmer's Market is Alex's; it is easy to see why. They have the freshest oysters, delicious soups, and great grilled fish. I had 1/2 dozen Blue Point oysters and a cup of Seafood Chowder and The Husband had a piece of grilled fish which he enjoyed. Alex's is a great place to people watch and enjoy a beer or a great place for husbands to sit with a beer and watch the Eagles game.

I eat there 5 or 6 times a year. Food is fantastic, crab cakes are first rate and all of the food fresh. Service is a little slow

Fresh seafood and service is fair. Better than other seafood places nearby.

Now I have eaten at the attached restaurant. The soft shell crab sandwich was pretty good. And I was really excited to eat it, because it took my waitress about six minutes to arrive at my table from the kitchen 50 feet away.

What can I saw about this place? Plenty, this little gem located in the New Castle flea market is truly a bit of heaven on earth. The oysters and seafood are very fresh, their New England chowder is amazing and the folks who work there are warm and friendly. I live almost 90 miles away in NJ but they are so worth the trip. I look forward to my next visit to try some more of their homemade delights.
